Plexippus is a genus of jumping spiders that was first described by Carl Ludwig Koch in 1846. It is considered a senior synonym of Hissarinus and Apamamia.
Plexippus setipes can be found in Turkmenistan, China, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan
Male:
Prosoma orange to light brown, eye field darker. Prosoma length: 3.2 mm. Legs yellow to orange. Opisthosoma reddish brown, dorsum with wide yellow median band, venter light yellow.
Female:
Colouration as in male, but pattern on opisthosoma less contrasting. Prosoma length: 2.7 mm.
